Spillavhengighet Norge is the data controller for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. In this privacy statement, we explain what types of personal data we collect, how we process them, and how long we store them.

1. Collection and processing of personal data
By filling out the registration form, the following personal data is collected and stored: Name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, payment information/payment method for membership fees. Personal data is only accessible to key individuals within Spillavhengighet Norge who have a legitimate need for access to this information. Confidentiality is maintained as all individuals with such access have agreed to confidentiality obligations, and we have secured all information with secure login procedures.

2. Purpose
The purpose of collecting and processing personal data is to manage the membership agreement, including providing good follow-up and service to members and other individuals associated with Spillavhengighet Norge. Membership in Spillavhengighet Norge entails that we must process personal data in various contexts, such as administering activities, membership, trust positions, and as the basis for reporting to public authorities.

3. Legal basis
Spillavhengighet Norge can collect and process personal data based on the membership agreement. When a person voluntarily joins Spillavhengighet Norge, we have a legal basis for registering and processing the necessary personal data. If personal data is to be processed in a way that is not reasonably derived from the membership agreement, this will only happen with your explicit consent.

4. Deletion of personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you can request access to and the transfer of your own personal data, as well as request corrections or deletions of information. To maintain our historical records, your personal data is stored even after the membership ends. Complaints about processing that violates the rules can be submitted to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

By becoming a member of Spillavhengighet Norge, you contribute to ensuring that the voices of individuals affected by gambling addiction are heard.

Our organization works locally, regionally, and nationally to prevent gambling addiction and shed light on the dark sides of addiction. Our support services are open to anyone affected by gambling addiction, whether it pertains to gambling, video gaming, or if you are a next of kin.

Member

Individuals who are affected by gambling addiction, their family members, and volunteers can become members. To become a volunteer, you must first be an ordinary member. Members have rights, including participation in general assemblies and the opportunity to be elected as a regional delegate to the general assembly with voting and speaking rights.

Membership is valid once the membership fee has been paid. Membership is renewed annually.

*The membership fee is 100 Norwegian kroner per year.
